Authentic antique broadside from Maine circa 1915 gives notice that rude behavior in church is punishable by imprisonment and fine. "Whoever, on the Lord's Day or at any time, behaves rudely or indecently within the walls of any house of worship ..... shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than thirty days, and by fine not exceeding ten dollars."
