The books in this box set are 1980s reprints of 1920/1921 editions (the 1920s editions were later printings of the 1879 editions).  Hardcover with brown cloth spines, about 7.25 inches tall. These are exact reprints of the standard books used in one room school houses throughout the US in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The books show wear on the corners and dents on edges, some smudges, and the 5th Reader has several bent pages, but are all in very nice condition overall, some of the books appear to be unopened and unread!
